Members become eligible for Laureate Membership at least five years following their initiation. Members must have been an active member (paying dues) for at least five years prior to nomination to be considered for the citation. The members' Regional Director approves the Laureate Citation.

The performance is also sustained over a longer period of time. Members must have been an active member (paying dues) for at least five years prior to the nomination. The award must be approved by a vote of the Board of Directors.
