How to Become a Member

Membership into Epsilon Pi Tau is by invitation from one of our 143 chapters.

If you are interested in joining Epsilon Pi Tau and do not attend a univeristy with a chapter, you may be able to join a chapter through a different institution.  However, you must attend an initiation ceremony (in person or virtual) to be considered a member. Please locate an active chapter on the locate a chapter page to verify if we currently have an active chapter at the closest institution to you.

When you have selected a chapter, please email us your contact information, resume, and name of the selected chapter, and we will then forward it on to the Trustee who will contact you to determine if you meet their requirements to be initiated (usually a grade point of 3.25 or higher, or demonstration of professional leadership, etc...some chapters require a higher GPA). If you do meet the requirements, you will be invited to join Epsilon Pi Tau.

If you do not reside within reasonable distance from a chapter, you may be initiated (as a Member at Large) at one of the conferences in which EPT holds initiation ceremonies:

ATMAE (Fall of each year)
ITEEA (Spring of each year)
